The teacher training module on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) consists of a handbook for teacher trainers on the nature, possibilities and use of Problem-Based Learning as an approach within the context of Active Teaching and Learning. The printed manual comes with a cd-rom which contains an additional manual specifically related to the organization of extra-curricular outdoor activities with a focus on environmental education.
The handbook has been written by Dr. Le Huy Hoang of the Hanoi National University of Education in collaboration with the 25 members of the different methodology core groups of the 5 partner teacher training institutes of VVOB. The manual on extra-curricular outdoor activities was prepared by Dr. Nguyen Hoang Tri and revised by Ms. Vu Thi Mai Anh, also both from the Hanoi National University of Education. The latter material contains a set of practical examples prepared and tested by the 5 teacher training institutes.
